Sh*t Eva Says- I STILL NEED YOUR HELP!

Now I'm EVERYWHERE on the interwebs!

 Hey, internet! I'm HEEEEEEEERE. Trying to get people to notice you
on the internet these days is like waving hello from mars. I'm not sure
how I came up with that analogy, but I'm rollin' with it. So, in order to
maximize my internet resources, I've created a few new pages where
you may, or may not, wish to follow me. It's getting to be a lot for me to
manage, but if it means I'm introduced to ONE MORE PERSON than I
knew before as an artist on the web, it's worth it.
So click all the buttons with logos to the left. I now have facebook,
bandcamp, reverbnation, youtube, twitter, and don't remind me about
my myspace. I greatly dislike myspace. Don't even bother looking at
that page, even though I have one of those, too.

There are goodies on EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE PAGES. So,
if you're as obsessed with me as I am (jk), now you have 3 more pages
to stalk me on. Actually, I hope you're along the ride for my music,
not to stalk me...

Why I need YOUR help!

I come to you all in a time of GREAT NEED! Putting together an
album is expensive! I now find myself nervously checking my
bank account every day, eating cereal for dinner, and searching
for cheaper places to live. I know I'm not the only musician out
there struggling to make ends meet and start a career in music,
but I believe in myself and I believe you will love my album
IF I CAN AFFORD TO FINISH IT!

I'm doing this because it's been my dream to put this album out
for you for YEARS. It's finally happening, because it HAS to, but
my savings have disappeared and I need your help to finish
what I've begun!

This is where I turn to you. You've always been there for me and
I'm not about to let you down. I'm working with amazing people
and we're already making huge progress on what's going to be
my BIGGEST RELEASE YET!

So, here is where you come in: I need help making
this happen!

How YOU can give back!

 Friends:
(I address you as friends because you are ALL my friends in music, whether we've met or have yet to meet in person...)
*ahem*
So, friends:

The time has come. I have added a donation button to my website. That's right, I'm asking for your $cha-cha-cha-change$.

I have a job that pays my bills. This money is not to pay my bills (when I start charging for my albums is when you'll know I need the money to pay my bills- someday, I hope my music can pay my bills). No, this money is meant ONLY for producing more music for you all!

So, this is how it works: if you are willing and able to make a donation, EVERY CENT that is given goes into music that will in turn be given back to you. So, if you like what I do, it's really a gift for yourselves and all your other friends through this music. I make music for the passion of it, for the fun of it, because it's what my life is about. I do it because I want to. But things cost money and while I can currently say I make music without expecting pay nor reward, the music business cannot say the same. While music is pumping through my veins, money is pumping through the system and in order to participate, I gotta pay up.

I know I've been promising an album for awhile, but I'm hitting a snag that I think ALL musicians have to deal with today: the cost of producing a professional album is staggering. It makes me want to start an "only ramen noodles for dinner" policy whenever I think about it.

More than anything, I want people to be able to listen to my music. That's why it's here for free. If you have the means, donate $5 or $10 and make sure I KNOW about it. I want to thank you personally. If that's something you really can't afford, trust me, I understand. Just do me a favor: enjoy my music, come to my shows, and make sure you share my music with someone.

EVAPALOOZA- September 13th on Mass Ave.

Out of some divine coincidence, I'm able to announce that there will be one night in the near future where you can see me perform with EVERYONE I regularly collaborate with here in Boston! I'm so excited to share this night with you guys, so come hang out and see three AWESOME acts, all with ME!

First we'll start out at The Cantab Lounge on Mass Ave. @ 8:30 pm for their ridiculously popular Bluegrass Night! I'll be playing with Hickory Strings, a truly inspiring crossover bluegrass band who likes to groove and have fun...

Then, we'll just walk a couple blocks down Mass Ave. to The Plough & Stars for TWO sets where I'll be singing and playing! The first set will be a short set with Steph Barrak, my musical soulmate and one of my favorite songwriters on the face of this earth, and the second longer set will be with My Politic (the band), who writes mesmerizing tunes for guitar, fiddle, and three part vocal harmony that folks your face off.

The timing is going to be perfect, so set aside one evening for three awesome musical acts and be prepared to have a wonderful time! It'd be so nice to have your support that night for... EVAPALOOZA!!! ;)
